ITINERARY

In the early morning, our driver will collect you from your location in Zanzibar and transport you to the airport for your flight to Mikumi, which departs at 7:00 AM and arrives at 8:10 AM. Upon your arrival, you will meet your guide and start a game drive in a jeep or 4x4 Land Cruiser.

You will enjoy the game drive until 1:00 PM, when we will pause for lunch within the park. After lunch, we will complete the game drive. At the end of your adventure, our guide will assist you to the airstrip for your return flight to Zanzibar. Once you arrive back, a driver will be waiting to take you to your hotel.

Schedule

- 5:00 AM: Pick up from your accommodation in Arusha. A comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle will be provided for your journey.

- 7:30 AM: Arrive at the entrance of Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Prepare for your adventure with a brief orientation and introduction to the park's unique ecosystem.

- 7:30 AM - 12:00 PM: Enjoy a guided safari tour through the Ngorongoro Crater. Look out for the majestic Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros. You may also spot zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, impalas, gazelles, and an array of bird species, including flamingoes.

- 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM: Lunch inside the crater. A picnic lunch will be provided, allowing you to savor your meal while surrounded by stunning landscapes and wildlife.

- 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM: Continue your safari exploration. Capture the beauty of the Ngorongoro Crater and its diverse inhabitants, ensuring ample time for photography and observation.

- 3:30 PM - 4:00 PM: Begin your journey back to the park gate, reflecting on the day's experiences.

- 4:00 PM: Depart from Ngorongoro and head back to Arusha.

- 6:30 PM: Arrive at your accommodation in Arusha.
